Follow the below steps to create News Categories.

Step 1: Login into Mobiconnect with the Admin/Owner credential and select your project.

Step 2: Navigate to the News page by clicking on the News menu. 

Step 3: Click on the News Categories and click on the New button to add a new News. 

Step 4: Enter Title and click on the Add button.

Note: If you want to Publish the Created News category then you have to click on the Enabled toggle button and if you don't click on the Enabled toggle button then the news category will be saved as a draft and will be visible in the drafts section.

Step 5: you can also search for created news categories by entering the news category title in the search bar.

You can search news categories only by title and you can also publish the news category by clicking on the published toggle button
